I shared some pretty exciting videos on my recent Spin it Grand game post, but I saved one more for this week’s Slot Moment.
The game has a hold and spin mechanic that’s a twist on Lightning Link’s. You still go for six symbols to trigger the bonus, but then a new reel set with 10 spaces appears, and you collect flames. Whatever spaces you collect the flame, you win a prize, after a wheel above them spins to determine which prizes will be assigned to each space.
Getting all 10 spaces will not only net you all 10 prizes, but the Grand jackpot progressive. This now leads us to this video from The Slot Cats starting at 6:17.
They begin playing a risky $12.50 a bet on quarter denomination, but then move on to a $5 dime denomination bet and get the Spin it Grand bonus. They manage a quite nice 9 out of 10 spots, and ultimately manage a respectable $350 win on a $5 spin.
The very next spin (check those credit amounts), they managed a back to back Spin it Grand bonus. This time, they get back to 9 of 10 filled and notice the flame’s spinning in there for that 10th space, which like Lightning Link indicates an increased chance, although not a guarantee, of winning the Grand jackpot.
On the last chance of the three spins you get to land another space, they manage to get the 10th flame, securing the Grand for $7,663.20… plus they still get those 10 prizes, which netted them another $710 on top of the Grand! The final outcome was a quite exciting 1,675x their bet, quite exciting at any level but particularly at a $5 bet.
