Grand progressive jackpots are a rarity on any given slot machine, so when they’re won it’s a big deal. Even more unusual is a Grand jackpot caught on camera, although it happens, as this example from VegasLowRoller attests.
But catching it during a live stream is like a unicorn, so when it happens, it’s definitely something special. And this one comes courtesy of Slotaholic!
The moment was courtesy of a group pull, which had eight people in it at the time and was being shared live on YouTube. other games were played at first, such as Lightning Link, Dragon Link and Buffalo Link, but they ended up at Lock it Link Diamonds, which had a more than $13,000 grand. On this version of Lock it Link there’s only one way to get the Grand progressive jackpot: It has to land on a heart as part of a Lock it Link trigger (which requires three or more hearts on the same row).
They were doing $10 bets on the dime denomination, and it didn’t take long – five spins and it was heart, Grand heart, heart on the same row!
Because it was a group pull, each participant, eight in all, were able to share the $13,878.70 Grand jackpot, plus a few more bucks won on the very short Lock it Link bonus. Given the original stake was $200 a person, or $1,600 in all, each participant got almost ten times their original stake back!
It’s always a great time when a group pull can return your money back and more. But this is definitely one of the more exceptional examples out there, caught live! And it shows that those Grand jackpot progressives are out there for the taking, however rare they are.
