While on my journey on the Oasis of the Seas, I was interviewed by Binbin of for his podcast The New England Casino & Gambling Podcast. Come to find out shortly before the cruise, that we were going to be on the same ship by coincidence!

We had some good conversations on the ship, and a good chunk of that comes through even within his standard 10 minute format of the podcast. We covered a good number of topics in such a short time!

The topics we covered include:

  • How I came up with doing the site
  • What my goals for the future would be
  • What I play outside of slots, including tables and video poker
  • My biggest pet peeve around what people believe playing slots
  • My favorite games by various manufacturers
  • How I’d spend a $100 budget given a set of games

Special credit goes to Binbin for managing to take a nearly 20 minute conversation we had while on the ship (recorded in the casino during a port day when everything was shut down) and condense it down to what you hear. Everything we covered is still basically referenced.

He’s really working hard to pack in the information in a short amount of time, and it was definitely a fun conversation to have, so be sure to check out his other episodes, and to subscribe to future episodes. And of course check out for a lot of other great resources and information!

I’ve been on a bit of a run lately with conversations, so if you haven’t heard the conversations with the American Casino Guide book team, Art in the Game or Slot Gypsies Travel, you can find more great conversations, including a lot of helpful information culled from what you can find on the site.
