Earlier in the year we saw an impressive scenario happen where Vegas Low Roller won a grand jackpot on 88 cents on 88 Fortunes Emperor’s Coins. The machine had just been recently installed at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, which made it a bit of an interesting occurrence.
So the fact that he’s now done it twice is all the more remarkable.
This time out, he lands the Grand jackpot on a new series of games from Aristocrat called Cash Boost, which features a ladder during the free spins with a prize that increases with every free spin win, and is shown in the video.
The Cash Boost trigger is where VLR got his Grand jackpot. He got the Grand among six Cash Boost symbols, which triggers six free spins with the ladder feature. (More symbols during the trigger will offer more free spins, which can help progress the free spins ladder.)
Each win during those free spins not only adds an additional free spin, but has the prize move up the ladder 1-3 spaces. The top of the ladder has a much larger prize, which also can be increased during the free spins.
In this case VLR’s free spins didn’t deliver a lot of additional value, but the Grand was value enough, with a $5,000 prize on a $2.50 wager on dime denomination.
While this wasn’t a similar spread as his 88 cent bet winning $10,000, the vast majority of us would absolutely be happy with a 2000x win, as he clearly was here.
