A Deeper Dive Into Quick Hit Mechanical Reels with the American Casino Guide Book

Quick Hit by bally 6 symbols 88 dollar win

I’ve written at length about the Quick Hit series over the years, and have spent a couple of articles specifically covering the five mechanical reel version. And the machine makes my list of value plays for slots in a $1-2 bet range.

But sometimes a visual can go a long way to help connecting the dots.

In my latest video with the American Casino Guide Book team, we take a closer look specifically at Quick Hit and that five mechanical reel version. In a different sort of take, we review a live game play video recorded by Steve and Matt Bourie and talk through the various aspects of the game.

We talk about things like volatility, progressives and bonuses and how their inclusion impacts the game’s payback structure, and how frequent bonuses can slow down wagering and how that can impact a session. Thanks to the gameplay footage we’re able to talk about much of this in the context of the footage we’re watching as the video progresses.

With this game specifically being a lower volatility option, and having opportunities to pick up pays through line hits, Quick Hit symbols and the free spins, each with their ability to contribute to the overall payback, the game can offer pays in enough ways that when they’re all hitting it can be a lot of fun.

At the end, they ask a few more questions about the game and slots before we wrap up the conversation, but we pack a lot into a short video, using an actual game as an entry point into the conversation.

This was a fun experiment, and we’d love to hear your feedback on whether such a format is helpful to you. Did you get something out of it? Did you enjoy the information provided and find it helpful? Feel free to share your feedback in the comments.

  • Hi Joshua! I enjoy reading your info on slots. Keep up the good work on enlightening all of us. Sometimes the games change up at a casino and watching slot channels keep us informed on what that particular game that is new to us will do…or not do. Have a great time!
