In a previous article on Slot Finders, I shared how Aristocrat has by far the most robust slot finder of the major manufacturers. While that data is certainly helpful to players trying to locate games, it can also help those of us on the outside wondering what their most popular games are.

In a write-up about Aristocrat’s Buffalo titles, USA Casino also shared the top ten titles with data based on the slot finder information available online.

Dragon Link games took a lot of the top ten, including themes like Golden Century, Happy and Prosperous and Autumn Moon Other games listed in the top ten include Fu Dai Lian Lian and Cash Express Luxury Line Buffalo. At least one Lightning Link title, Tiki Fire, also made the top ten.

The latter was the most installed Buffalo game, but USA Casino also explored the top Buffalo games, and Buffalo Gold Collection and Buffalo Gold Revolution followed the Cash Express title. This is perhaps not surprising given how well those two games came out, as mentioned in yesterday’s post.

But even games like Buffalo Chief, Buffalo Link and Wild Wild Buffalo have at least 100, if not hundreds, of installations, just showing how deep the Buffalo series goes on many casino floors.

USA Casino’s analysis shows Buffalo games being available at more than 3,700 locations, which likely incorporates not only standard casinos, but other types of locations like Dotty’s and supermarkets locations in places like Nevada which allow for slot parlors or gaming in non-conventional spaces.

But it simply underscores how ubiquitous some of these games have become, and how quickly some of the newer games make their ways out to casinos as their popularity grows. These games wouldn’t be so widely available if players weren’t playing them, and it shows the continued power of the Buffalo series of games some 20 or so years in.

  • I just got back from Mystik Lake in Minnesota..and Buffalo just felt like it was less volatile than it had been in the past.. had a good hit on Wild Wild Buff.. and I think Buffalo Gold Revolution with the Wheel if I am not mistaken is my current favorite.. Thunder Cash was also good to me! not sure if that is aristocrat?

    • Hey Thomas – Buffalo’s a volatile game, but it can feel not like one when it’s running well – I think that’s part of what makes the game series so good. Glad you had a good round on them! Thunder Cash is an Ainsworth game – also an Australian company, but a different one.
